Headwrap

-Use seran wrap or a plastic bag (have the model fold the front up so it doesn't cover their mouth)

-cover the entire thing with Crystal Clear tape, so it molds into the exact shape of their head.

-once the plastic is completely covered and totally smooth, use different colored sharpies to draw heir hairline, ears, eyebrows, top of their ear, an "X" or star on the center back of their head)

-apply tape over the sharpied spots so it doesn't come off over time

-At the center of the X, use blunt scissors (that cannot cut people) to vertically cut it off their heads

-tape it onto a mannequin head and fill any air pockets with stuffing

-tape the hole shut

Ventilating

Use a ventilating needle to tie the hair onto a danae (lace hole)

-Drape lace over nape and above ears

-Pin into place

-leaving 1" seam allowance, cut lace around the occipital bone

-venta-stitch a rolled hem along the part that was cut, so there are no raw edges

-Leaving 1" seam allowance, drape lace over the occipital to the top of the head

-Ensure the lace is flat with no wrinkles and avoid using darts

-A heat-gun from Home Depot will help round the lace to the shape of your head

-Venta-stitch a rolled hem onto the previous rolled hem.

-The foundation should now cover the nape and occipital

-Pin darts into place at top of head

-Venta-stitch darts at the corn of the head

-You do not need to keep venta-stitching once the top of the head is reached

-Dress pin the lace where the highest red line is on the photo

-With a 1" seam allowance, trim the lace at the top of the head

-The dress pins will keep the lace in place

-Trim the lace around the ear and hairline, leaving extra lace

-You will cut it more precise when the wearer has it on

-The nape lace is difficult to see, but it is there

-Now you can front it.
